Happy Friday!

It's Friday once again folks and you know what that means!

Make & Takes are tomorrow! Yippee!

We have a couple really good ones for you this weekend, but before I show them to you, I have to show you what we have been working on the last couple days......

kitting for Tuesday's class.....

We (mostly Dolores) (but I helped!) hand painted 182 pieces for our Desk Organizer class Tuesday! And then we cut the paper and chipboard - and put them all together....

Ye-up! Now THAT's how we kit a class! And it's going to be an AWESOME class! There is still one or two spots left in each session too!

And then we moved on to creating your Make & Takes!

Our first uses a stamp from a really neat set from Hero Arts.

And since we had a new Riley & Company release this week, and since it is Memorial Weekend, we thought we would use this little guy..

 This photo makes the paper look black, but it's acutally navy blue. Cool huh?

Wanna See Something Really Cool?

Hi Everyone! I wanted to show you the most AMAZING birthday card my darling friend Connie brought in to me today! I was literally speechless (yes... it is possible) and it brought a tear to my eye to think she went to all this trouble just for me! Check out this card.....

The front..... look at the beautiful fabric flowers! This card was done with Graphic 45's Olde Curiousity Shoppe paper.

And when you open it up.....

It's a POP UP! It's a bird cage with flying pigs! There are pieces parts attached so they pop up too! Here is a closer look.

How cool is that!

Connie is one of the most talented people! She brought this in to show us as well. It's another pop-up card that she made...

I have a three fun annoucements for you today!

First - Stampers Ink is now buying USED STAMPS!  That's right! Can't wait until the Used Stamp Sale?Stampers Ink is going to open a "Used Stamp Section" in the store! If you have some stamps that are gently used that you would like to sell, bring them in! Secondly - don't forget that we have TWO amazing Photoshop Classes tomorrow! Sally Lynn MacDonald will be here to show us how to use Phtoshop to make our photos look terrific and how to organize our stamps too! Each class is only $15! And you don't even need a computer to take the class!

The are the BEST and brightest spray colors that I have ever used! I was like a kid in a candy store - I tore right through the box and opened them all up! Made THREE pages in about 20 minutes! Ha! Now, we carry everything Dyan makes! Come on in - I will show you a little demo or two!

A totally creative week and Make & Takes for Saturday, May 5th

Happy Cinco De Mayo a day early!

First, I want to say thank you to everyone who came in and enjoyed our very first Double Punch Wednesday! It's one of our little ways we try to give back to our customers, and we are glad you enjoyed it! If you missed it, we have another Double Punch Wednesday coming up on May 23rd!

This was a very creative week!

First - I HAVE to show you my new creative passion. Art Journaling! Art journaling is simply creating an art page in a journal. That's it. No writing if you don't want to, no pictures, no deep thoughts. (Thank goodness!) Simple creativity. It's just a snap shot of your creativity on any particular day.

The whole thing got started when I watched a video of Dyan Reaveley! (I have attached it here for you to watch too!) She is amazing. And then I "got it"! And the creativity started flowing and viola! Here is the result!

I call this page "Mushroom Wonderland"!! It's not quite done yet - but soon!

So, I ordered in all her products and found out that all of you love her stuff too! Poof! What we got in, went right back out! And so I re-ordered, and then re-ordered AGAIN! And now we have even more of her stuff! How fun!

Want to learn and join the Art Journaling craze? Then the Techniques: Dylusions class is for you. It's on May 31st at 11 am or 6 pm! And the best part - it's only $18!

Next - I tackled the new May/June Cricut Class cartridge - Art Deco. I LOVE THIS CARTRIDGE! In the May class we will be using our Cricut to cut fabric, and in June we will use the same cartridge to make cards and wall art! Check it out!

Dolores was in a creative mood too.... she made the JUNE Ten Card One Page Wonder class.... it's truly amazing!

Cool Projects for Tuesday (or any day!)

I have a couple really fun projects to show you today! One was brought in by a customer and the other you can make yourself!

First, this is the Desk Organizer Class we are having on May 29th! I had soooooo much fun making this sample! You simply can not go wrong with Graphic 45 papers, and this latest collection (Olde Curiosity Shoppe) is no exception! My creative mind really overrode my budget, so this a steal at $20!

And the Desk Organizer matches our Pencil Cube class project perfectly! The Pencil Cube class is on June 28th, and is only $18!

Make & Takes for Saturday, April 28th

Welcome to the weekend everyone!

It's been a super busy week around here, and we are ready for some Saturday fun!

I have to share with you TWO of the highlights of my week!

First - a WONDERFUL announcement from Ranger! The new Spring Distress Ink sets are available! Ours are already on their way here, and we have been in the middle of a pre-order frenzy around here! You can pre-order them for $17.99 and we will call you the DAY they get here!

BUT WAIT - there's more! Ranger has also made all NINE of the reinkers available as well! There are six from the previous special release sets, and three from this set! Grab them all!

AND - we got our shipment of the new Graphic 45 Olde Curiousity Shoppe paper in! I have been waiting and waiting because I wanted to do some classes with it! So, I got busy - and here is the Pencil Desk Cube class scheduled in June! This picture does not do it justice!

This stamp is absolutely stunning in any color you stamp it in.

And next, we used the Large Dot backgrounder stamp and combined it with a beautiful daisy digital stamp, both from CHF. The beautiful shades of purple just pop on this card.

Happy Friday Everyone!

We have some spectacular Make & Takes for you this weekend, but first, I wanted to share some terrific news with you and show you some awesome new product we got in this week!

First - the great news: there will be a stamp convention in Kansas City this year!!! Woo Hoo! It will be at the KCI Convention Center on July 20th & 21st!
